Purolator Company History
CLARCOR Air Filtration Products, Inc. (CLC Air) was founded in 1964 and manufactures HVAC filtration products under the Purolator brand name. Since its founding, the Purolator brand
of air filtration products has provided its customers with high quality products and the best brand name recognition in the HVAC industry. Purolator products can be found everywhere,
in retail outlets, commercial buildings, office complexes, industrial plants, healthcare facilities, schools, universities, and public and government buildings.
CLC Air is committed to making the Purolator brand of products even stronger. Recognizing that improved products, technology, customer service and rapid product delivery are the keys to the future of Purolator, CLARCOR Air Filtration Products, Inc.’s parent company, CLARCOR, recently announced a $26MM investment into the company. This capital investment will result in new automated production equipment and new manufacturing facilities to provide even stronger coverage across the United States. The $26MM expansion and automation project is being implemented over a three year period and will result in a company positioned to grow and expand with its customers.
CLC Air has been named an ENERGY STAR Product and Service Provider. ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy with a common goal of saving money and energy through the use of energy efficient products and practices. CLC manufactures products that may qualify as sustainable components for Leed/Green building initiative. The LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ is a voluntary, consensus-based program for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings.
